PEDX Baltimore, also known as Pedestrian, is an anomaly. The venue brings limited edition, street sophistication and distinction via apparel, limited edition hats, fine art, as well as a selection of precision art supplies. PEDX opened it’s doors in Fells Point in April of 2008. The shop strives to appeal to the Other-Class amongst the world, with appreciation and focus on the real, rough rugged and raw. Contstantly building relationships with the newest and freshest around the world. Mishka, SOULD, Milk Crate, Frank 151, King Stampede, Reason, Fresh Melt Water, Blast, 3Sixteen, Rogue Status, Nike, Eriffs, Amongst Friends, Mighty Healthy, Krink, and Montana, are a few of the brands that contribute to keeping the shelves fresh at PEDX.
The art gallery side of PEDX is a daily operation as well. With a constantly evolving network of artists, the walls of the shop always feature new art. Many times the art is debuted at one of PEDX’s jump-off events and then transferred to the Fells Point location for display and sale.
In addition to a retail venue and art gallery, PEDX works within the communitty through organizing and promoting events throughout the Baltimore metropolitan area, and across the country. Events range from gallery openings, sweaty club nights, and into-the-next-day house parties. Being on the bleeding edge of street and youth culture PEDX provides proper sound by affiliating it self with the city’s best Hip-Hop, Club & Electro Djs. Claire Hux, NinjaSonik, Blaqstarr, Scottie B, Emynd & Bo Bliz, Chief Rocker Busy Bee, Two Teks, and Minus9 are some of the acts that have kept the bodies moving at PEDX parties.
In the coming year PEDX will be building upon a solid 2008 that every one who came through helped to create. There is plenty in the works, always something fresh.

Pedestrian used to be the go to place for anything streetwear in it’s small, but packed, Philadelphia home. I say “used to” because they, since last year, packed their bags and treked to Fells Point/Baltimore, MD. Now the taste of Philly could be loved and adorned by all in the harbor city, minus the Phillies stuff of course. Capwise, they have a pretty good selection from many different brands. Perfect timing too considering the B’more harbor needs to be schooled on what constitutes as a decent cap. All you see people with are Orioles caps. “Walk, don’t run” over to Pedestrian today.
